Let’s meet some llamas. Soon.
Welcome to the herd of Spit You Not
We were introduced to llamas when we did a guided llama hike while on vacation in New Mexico. The llamas were funny looking, but also very intelligent, surprisingly easy to handle, and a calming presence. We connected with llamas differently than we had with other animals.
Back home we talked about how interesting life could be if we could take care of a few llamas on a daily basis, and about the joy we could have in introducing people to them. It took about a decade to figure it all out, but in 2024 we finally welcomed the first llamas to our recently purchased mini-farm in Carroll County, Maryland, located close to 140, between Westminster and Reisterstown.
Our ten female llamas were quickly embraced by neighbors and friends with hundreds visiting each year. Our animals are loved for their diverse looks, sizes, and personalities. We are excited to offer private guided farm tours with hands-on interactions starting the fall 2026. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to our farm.
